A great initiative taken by CHANDIGARH POLICE in collaboration with THE DENTAL ARCADE,CHANDIGARH.

A dental check-up camp was organized in Sector 26 Police station, Chandigarh. A Dental check up of around 100-150 police officials was done by the Dental Arcade Team.Other facilities like eye check-up, ECG, full body check-up and blood pressure and diabetic check up followed by Dietician were also there in the camp.

The oral health of the police officials was evaluated and they were advised to maintain their oral hygiene.A small talk was given by Dr. Vijita Mehta regarding awareness of oral health.The event was graced by DSP Palak Goel and SHO Juldan Singh.

The camp also highlighted the commitment of Chandigarh Police towards the well-being of its officers, emphasizing that their health and welfare are of utmost importance. Such initiatives not only ensure that the police force remains physically fit for their demanding duties but also showcase the organization’s dedication to holistic care for its personnel.

The Dental Arcade conducted dental awareness and health check up camp in collaboration with a non-profit organization ( Yuvastambh) which works for the welfare of the children in sector 26 Chandigarh. Other facilities like blood donation, eye check-up and full body health check-up were also there in the camp.

DSP Palak Goel was present as the Honorable chief guest at the event. Her immense support and appreciation gave this event the much needed boost. The participation from the public in huge numbers made this camp a success and made it memorable.

A dental check-up camp was organized in Gurudwara sahib, Mohali on 11-October-2019. A Dental check up of around 50-100 people was done by the Dental Arcade Team.

Their oral health was evaluated and they were advised to maintain their oral hygiene. A small talk was given by Dr. Vijita Mehta regarding awareness of oral health. It was great experience for our team to be a part of the camp.

A dental check-up camp was held today at the Chandigarh Judicial Academy, Sector 43 Chandigarh. Under the supervision of Director Gobinder Singh Matharu, Mrs Navjot Kaur and Mrs Neerja Kulwant Kalson, Dr. Vijita Mehta and five other members of the team assessed the oral hygiene status of approximately sixty judges-in-training as well as a few staff. During the check-up, they were made aware of the existing dental issues.The camp was followed by a power-point presentation that was used to raise awareness about the causes of dental as well as gum problems. Along with these, their signs and symptoms and various methods on how they can be prevented were also discussed. These included proper brushing instructions as well as the importance of a visit to the dentist on a regular basis so as to prevent or intercept future dental/ gum problems. At the end of the presentation, the floor was open to all for any dental related queries that they might have and were then answered by Dr. Vijita Mehta.
